How did you start playing badminton and when?

While as a bored 12 year old, went along to a local social club with my older brother and loved it!

2 or 3 of your best achievements so far?

• Playing for Wales throughout my junior years
• A few (with more to come hopefully!) Mens Doubles Welsh Senior Series Titles
• 2 x Quarterfinalist of Welsh Senior Nationals

 Favourite Mid Glamorgan moment?

Helping to paint and the entire St.Cenydd Leisure Centre hall blue, only for our booking to be taken off us a few months later! 

Interesting fact about yourself that not many people know about?

I’m a keen motorcyclist.  Couldn’t afford a car at 21, so did my bike licence and have owned bike ever since.  Currently own a 650cc Suzuki.

Sporting heroes?

Usain Bolt, because he proves being laid back isn’t a bad trait in sport.

     Goals for this season?

• Qualify for Welsh Senior Series finals (Winning a few tournaments along the way)
• Win at least 2 out of 3 games per match within Cardiff & District League.

 Long term badminton goals?

 To stay healthy and enjoy myself. 

How does it feel to be part of Mid Glamorgan Badminton?

It’s a privilege to be able to train with players of such quality on a regular basis.
