How did you start playing badminton and when?

Started playing when my Mam and Auntie took me for a game at the Rec at the age of 11. Picked it up really quickly and managed to win my first ever tournament (because my doubles partner was a giant)

Representing Wales at 3 Commonwealth Games

9 World tour titles

Almost 100 caps for Wales

Sue Mickleborough’s stories on the ferry going over to Jersey/Guernsey for a quality county weekend away with much fun, lots of wins and a little booze….

Interesting fact about yourself that not many people know about?

I used to play badminton against Graham Onions who is now an international cricket player and also was challenged to a game of badminton against none other than Ralf Little.

How does it feel to be part of Mid Glamorgan Badminton?

Its great at the moment and a real buzz about it not only on the court but socially as well.. We need to keep it going and grow over the next couple of years. 2^nd team and Juniors. We need all players to commit to the county sessions and matches because without that the county will fail.
